Backyard Brunch: Kaitlyn & Tripp
Kaitlyn and Tripp were married a little over a year ago in the backyard of the home in which Kaitlyn grew up. Their wedding was simple and sweet and there was not a dry eye during the ceremony (including mine). To say the least, this was a very special wedding for me...it was not only my third wedding, but Kaitlyn
, alongside her Mom Karyn
, was one of my photographers at my wedding four years ago and we've been good friends ever since. I was incredibly honored and touched that Kaitlyn and Tripp asked me to document their wedding day, especially so early on in my career. Kaitlyn and Tripp, I will never forget your sunny wedding morning, or watching your friends and family hug and cry together with joy, or how excited you were to (finally) be married. I feel so blessed to know you both and am grateful for your friendship! Happy belated anniversary! Love, Char
I adore the dress Kaitlyn chose for her wedding. Everything about this wedding was so relaxed and it reminded me what's really important...the commitment you make to each other.
Tripp is an AMAZING barista at Metto Coffee & Tea
...hence the coffee beans.
Kaitlyn couldn't decide on her shoes so she put all of them out so we could decide together.
Here's their first look that we staged on the back porch.
This one makes my heart melt.
These are family heirloom cake toppers (if I'm not mistaken) and they were recently featured in Charleston Magazine
I love this couple...my wedding photographer Karyn Iserman
and her husband.
This is one of my favorite images of 2011.
Brand newlyweds at last!!!!
